Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Danville, Virginia. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, ASAP start, and travel compensation with full benefits.

As part of a clinical team, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and swallowing disorders across ages, collaborate with other clinicians, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher.
• CCC-SLP preferred; experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Monitor progress and document in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety during therapy.
