Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 17-week travel assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. The SLP will evaluate and treat speech and swallowing disorders, delivering patient-centered care across diverse settings with a support team.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Preferred: CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse populations.
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with evaluations and patient goals.
• Document progress and maintain EMR accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment following infection control standards.
