Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Gainesville, FL. The role involves evaluation and treatment across pediatric to older adult patients, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. Contract: 13 weeks, travel-focused placement.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA-related credentials, with proven experience and strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Speech Language Pathologist.
• Master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or ASHA-certified.
• Independent decision making skills and clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Adhere to company code of conduct and applicable state/federal laws.
