Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered) and includes 40 hours per week with 8-hour days. Immediate opening with 13-week duration.

Requirements include BLS, ASHA‑SLP national certification, and state licensure. Duties cover diagnosis, treatment planning, screenings, patient education, and documentation per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individualized needs of a diverse patient population.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
