Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Albemarle, North Carolina. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patients, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires NC licensure, current BLS, and CCC-SLP preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of our therapy team.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology preferred
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed documentation in EMR
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Engage in quality improvement and professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned
