Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. This role is 40 hours per week, dayshift with travel stipend details to come.

Requirements include ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensing and BLS; at least 6 months of experience (new grads welcome; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered). Duties cover evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered with 6 months or less.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
