Job Summary:

A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is sought for a position in the area. The role involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practices, providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. The PTA will work under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to ensure comprehensive patient care in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

Job Details:Schedule:

Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Valid State Licensure for a Physical Therapist Assistant; at least 1 year of PTA experience; experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation; completion of Level II clinical experience; flexibility to work as per schedule and requirements.Ability to support and supervise students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.Strong communication skills to document patient progress, treatment plans, and collaboration with other healthcare team members.Participation in meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings.Commitment to adherence to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and State practice acts, ethics, and professional conduct.The ability to assist with obtaining necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation settings is desirable.
