Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment in Hamden, Connecticut. This 13-week role offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence. Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, active state license, and BLS certification as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC

Responsibilities

• Assist patients recovering from injuries or illness under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Support patient movement and mobility to improve function.
• Collaborate with PTs and healthcare team to implement treatment plans
