Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract in Davis, California. Under the guidance of a licensed OT, you will help SNF residents regain the skills needed for daily living, with a 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, days shift.

Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, valid California COTA license, and ideally 1 year in long‑term care; BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license required.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• BLS certification preferred; if required, BLS must be current prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with geriatric patients and ADL retraining preferred.
• Ability to follow plan of care and document in EHR; facility EHR systems experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in ADL retraining and restore daily living skills.
• Support restorative programs and fall prevention interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and execute patient care.
• Follow established plan of care and document accurately in the EHR.

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Davis, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. If required by the client, BLS must be current prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience treating geriatric patients and providing ADL retraining, restorative programs, and fall prevention interventions preferred.
• Ability to follow plan of care and document in electronic health record. Experience with facility EHR systems preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate effective communication with patients and family members.
