Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the SICU in New Haven, CT. Assignment: 13 weeks, 36 hours/week, 3×12s nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Start date 10/23/2026. Candidates must have 2 years ICU experience, Epic software experience, and willingness to float to SDU as needed.

Local candidates not accepted; travel experience required and NIHSS/BLS/ACLS certifications are expected. Block scheduling not available.

Responsibilities

• RN will work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and may float to the Step-Down Unit as needed.
• Strong critical-care experience including airway management and IV drip management.
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, and ABG interpretation.
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive drips and provide cardiac monitoring.
• Isolate and adhere to PPE requirements and infection control protocols.
