Job summary

Pioneer Healthcare Services seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Tucson, AZ. This 35-week assignment runs 40 hours per week with day shifts in a K-12 setting and requires AZ licensure.

The SLP will assess student needs, develop plans, provide therapy to improve speech and language, and collaborate with teachers and families to support educational goals. On-site, travel-friendly position.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• AZ licensure or certification as an SLP in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals.
• Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs.
