Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 42-week assignment in Burlington, Illinois. The role is 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, ASAP start.

The ideal candidate will have a PT degree, current IL license, CPR certification, and at least one year of school-based experience. This travel position includes a tax-free stipend and Day One Medical Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from students, parents, and team members on the child's motor performance in school settings.
• Select, administer, and interpret screening tools and standardized measures.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to assess strengths and needs for participation in activities.
• Design and implement PT interventions to support the educational program.

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:

• Gathering appropriate information from students, parents, and other team members regarding the child’s functional motor performance in school settings
• Selecting, administering, and interpreting a variety of screening instruments and standardized measurement tools
• Collaboratively with students’ IEP teams, examining and evaluating eligible students’ strengths and needs to establish their ability to participate in meaningful school activities and routines with or without assistance
• Designing and implementing physical therapy interventions that allow students to benefit from their educational program

Job Qualifications for the Physical Therapist:

• Graduate of Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• One or more years of school experience.
• Physical Therapist license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
