AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a school setting in Apple Valley, CA. The OT will address motor, sensory, cognitive skills affecting academics and daily activities, with a focus on student participation and progression.

Responsibilities include teaming with district staff, screening students, data collection, and delivering evidence-based therapy. Strong communication with families and teachers is required; CA OT licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in CA (CA OT license)
• Graduate from an accredited OT program
• Initial NBCOT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Screen and evaluate students referred to Occupational Therapy.
• Collect data and report findings.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services as required.
• Maintain documentation and billing per district/state standards.
• Provide training to teachers and staff on strategies to improve participation.
• Communicate with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student performance.
