Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel School Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for Rockford, Illinois. The assignment runs 27 weeks with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• OT graduate from an accredited program.
• OTR/L license in the state of practice.
• One or more year(s) of school-based experience.
• Participation in IEP meetings and evaluations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other disciplines to support student OT performance through evaluation and service delivery.
• Evaluates the student’s ability and forms the student’s occupational profile via assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Synthesizes results into a written report guiding intervention and program development.
• Develops occupation-based intervention plans based on student needs and evaluation results.
• Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to review results, integrate findings, and develop IEP goals.
• Coordinates with the IEP team to determine appropriate treatments and attends IEP Team Meetings.
