Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role is nights, 3x12hrs, 36 hours per week, starting Nov 1, 2026, for 13 weeks.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, RRT, BLS and ACLS certifications, with duties across hospital respiratory care, including ventilator management and patient transports. No call, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current RRT, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• License required if applicable and Pulmonary Function Testing / NICU care training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work within a hospital Respiratory Therapy department covering unit, step-down and floor assignments.
• Manage average caseload and perform intrahospital transports per shift.
• Operate Servo i ventilators, V60 BiPAP and use iStat for ABG analysis.
• Respond to Code Blue/Rapid Response and document patient records accurately.
