Job summary

Focus Staff in Gold Beach, Oregon is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and will place you on a travel assignment across the respiratory team.

You will develop patient care plans with physicians and nurses, perform respiratory procedures, and ensure documentation while supporting quality and safety in a crisis environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintains CPR/BCLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
