Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Marengo, Iowa. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, providing critical respiratory care in collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Ideal candidates have robust RRT experience, current CPR/BCLS, and strong patient safety focus. Travel appreciation and agency support are highlighted in this assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active CPR/BCLS certification maintained.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient status and recommend treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with complex conditions.
• Assist with endotracheal tube procedures as needed.
• Document care timely and accurately; support quality improvement.
• Educate and counsel patients and families.
