Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Respiratory Therapist for an assignment in Ishpeming, MI. The role emphasizes direct patient care, evaluation, and treatments across clinical areas with 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours per week over 13 weeks.

Required are 1 year of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP may be needed depending on area. NBRC certification and related credentials are mandatory to qualify.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS are mandatory; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
• Calibrate, assemble, and disinfect equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
