Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Largo, Florida. The role involves direct patient care, equipment setup and maintenance, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to ensure high-quality care.

The candidate should have 1 year of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS; NBRC certification is required and PALS/NRP may be required in some areas. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas per procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate, maintain, and evaluate respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Interact with staff to optimize patient care; respond to emergencies.
