Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. You will provide care for adults in a hospital setting, including ICU support and ventilator management.

Requirements include active RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, ACLS/BLS, and at least 1 year of critical care experience. Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule, details subject to assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RCP license required by Texas Medical Board
• RRT credential through NBRC required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in critical care with adults
• NICU/NS experience preferred and ability to use Oscillators and Vapotherm

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer therapies including oxygen delivery and chest physiotherapy
• Assist with airway management and endoscopy suite procedures
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation and transport ventilator-dependent patients
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff as a clinical resource
• Ensure respiratory equipment is properly set up, cleaned, sterilized, and stored
