ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including acute, critical care, and pediatric patients. You will work as part of a collaborative team and must be flexible with strong communication skills to meet department needs.

The role requires RRT certification, BLS, and experience in NICU/PICU and adult critical care. Travel assignment in Portland, ME with 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour workweek, including weekends,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP for NICU.
• Skills in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult acute and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilators.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
