Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 6-week assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. The role is full-time, requiring 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week of work.

Qualified candidates must have recent experience as an RRT, possess the RRT credential, a valid respiratory therapy license, and current BLS certification. Benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and/or family members on proper medication and equipment use.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice.
