Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for Florence, South Carolina. This contract assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and travel staffing across all 50 states. Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR/BCLS certification
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
• Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes
• Document care timely and accurately
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Educate and counsel patients and families
