Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, on-site in Indianapolis.

This contract position offers travel-friendly benefits and a chance to contribute to patient care during a high-demand period. Ideal candidates will have RRT credentials, CPR/BCLS, and a track record in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of travel or acute care experience.
• Current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
