Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a Gardena, California assignment. The role requires navigating wound/ostomy care, applying nursing processes, and ensuring patient safety during a 13-week engagement.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in wound care, CWOCN certification, and a CA RN license, with BLS from the American Heart Association. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8a-4p, in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years recent experience as Wound Care RN in a hospital setting.
• CWOCN certification is required and must be attached to the submission.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association must be attached to the submission.
• CA RN license must be attached to resume.
• Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8a–4p.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Wound/Ostomy patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgement and leadership in planning and delivering safe care.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care.
