Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a travel healthcare professional joining Worthington Medical Center for weekend shifts. You’ll provide nursing care across Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and 2) within a team of inter-professional colleagues, following the nursing process and state licensure rules.

The assignment offers weekly pay, including a stipend, Sanford benefits, and a 14-week contract with options to extend or relocate to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate care planning, patient education, and triage.
• Perform nursing interventions within scope of practice per state rules.
