American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 trauma stepdown unit in Morgantown, West Virginia. The assignment is a 13-week travel contract on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities include managing trauma, neuro, medical/surgical, wound and respiratory cases on a 24-bed unit with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, titrating drips, and using EPIC EMR. Travel RNs rotate through the unit and holidays.

Formación

• Active WV or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to interpret basic EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Must reside >50 miles from the facility.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a 24-bed stepdown unit in an acute care hospital.
• Care for trauma, neuro, medical/surgical, wound, respiratory, and diabetic patients.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:3 with aides.
• Titrate drips such as cardizem, labetalol, and amiodarone.
• Telemetry bed monitoring with central monitoring tech; basic EKG duties.
