Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU unit in Kentucky. Requires 2+ years of current specialty experience and a KY or compact RN license. BLS and ACLS are mandatory; Meditech EMR experience is preferred.

Shifts are days, 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week, with 13-week assignments and competitive pay. Travel benefits available and local residency requirements apply per facility rules.

Qualifications

• Active RN license KY or compact, in hand at time of consideration.
• 2+ years of current Stepdown/PCU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Stepdown/PCU populations including cardiac, neuro, resp, and renal patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, Dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Assist with pre/post cardiac catheterization care and related procedures.
• Support ortho trauma and total joint replacement patients as needed.
• Orientation is provided on a bi-weekly basis.
