Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown/Transitional) on the night shift, requiring a NC or compact RN license and current AHA certifications. A Nursys licensure verification is also required at time of consideration.

The 13-week travel assignment requires residency more than 60 miles from the facility, and candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment.

  • Current AHA certifications required.
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit.
  • Night shift schedule (7P-7A).
  • 13-week assignment length.
  • Provide progressive/stepdown level nursing care to transitional patients.
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment.
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible.
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment.
