Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN - Telemetry for an IMC Medical-Surgical unit in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The role requires NM or Compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS, with a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.

The unit cares for post-cardiac cath and post-surgical patients and uses high-risk medications; travel nurses receive competitive weekly pay and lodging/meal stipends as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required.
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and establish care priorities.
• Reassess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within nursing standards.
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
