Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float pool in Arizona. Must hold AZ or compact license and have 2+ years of telemetry experience.

Position requires night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, and the ability to float across four affiliated facilities. Cerner EMR experience is preferred. Travel eligibility includes residing outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Float pool role: float between departments and four affiliated facilities.
• Patient ratio of 6:1.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Scrubs of any color permitted.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any affiliated facility within the past 2 years.
