Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate English reading, writing, speaking and understanding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care as documented.
• Monitor and record patient condition; communicate with care team, physician, patient and family as appropriate.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharge, referrals and psychosocial support needs.
• Educate patient and/or family about age-appropriate care and condition as needed.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
