MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana. This role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification.

Candidates should have 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience and be able to start on 10/18/2026 for a 13-week assignment, working 36 hours per week with night shifts. As part of MedPro, you’ll join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency providing travel

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs of physiologic and psychosocial changes; use nursing process.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; document nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care based on evaluation and changes.
