MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Elmira, New York. This role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience.

Expect a 13-week assignment starting 11/30/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Travel benefits, housing options, and comprehensive insurance are included through MedPro.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Aufgaben

• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition; uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from health care members and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the plan of care using nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan.
