Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado.

The traveler will provide postpartum and mother-baby care, supporting new mothers and their newborns during the post-delivery period. This role requires a valid RN license, acute care experience in mother/baby, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 48 hours per week, with night shifts and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for moms and newborns after delivery.
• Monitor mothers post-delivery and support recovery; recognize postpartum depression.
• Educate parents on newborn care, feeding, and health monitoring.
