Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Mother/Baby experience.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Caring for moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Monitor mothers post-delivery and assist recovery; recognize postpartum depression and address emotions.
• Educate new parents on newborn care, feeding, and health monitoring.
