Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for a PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care assignment in Kalispell, Montana. This 13-week travel position requires a nurse with PICU experience and flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts on a 36-hour week schedule.

Required certifications include BLS, PALS and ACLS. The unit features 18 beds with 6 PICU and 12 MedSurg Pediatrics, and travel nurses may float to NICU or Postpartum for lower acuity patients when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PICU experience. If traveler went straight into PICU out of school, need minimum 3 years.
• Must have active BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Care for PICU patients with complex pediatric conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vents/trachs, and manage unstable patients as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
