Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for Pediatric Med Surg in Aurora, CO. You will join a pediatric medical floor providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex needs, on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

The role requires a Colorado nursing license and at least 2 years of pediatric RN experience in a large facility, with familiarity with trach/vent patients and central lines. Travel benefits and housing are included.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum 2 years pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility.
• Experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, and central lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients on a med/surg unit.
• Monitor, assess, and administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Operate and troubleshoot IV pumps and ventilator equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
