Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position in Charleston, SC. The role requires active SC or Compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of pediatric CVICU experience, with BLS/PALS and EPIC charting proficiency.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, and no on-call requirements. VAD experience and teaching hospital backgrounds are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• BLS and PALS certification required (AHA only).
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only).
• 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience required.
• CV and pediatric nursing experience required.
• VAD experience highly preferred.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for pediatric CVICU patients in a tertiary center.
• Administer medications and monitor hemodynamics per protocol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Document in EPIC EMR and maintain accurate patient records.
