Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Stepdown/PCU assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The role covers 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, starting 10/19/2026. You will deliver specialized telemetry care as part of a dedicated clinical team.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS or other certs may be required for the position. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (RN) required.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document patient assessments and inform physicians of changes.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive care.
