Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collects and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and family education.
• Revises the plan of care as needed based on evaluation.
