MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Olney, Illinois. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift for a 9-week assignment starting 09/28/2026.

Active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience are required by our client facility. Travel benefits and comprehensive credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Progress PCU/step-down responsibilities include monitoring patients requiring close observation and frequent assessments.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs and detect changes to enable timely interventions.
