MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Warren, Ohio. The PCU RN will provide monitored care for patients approaching but not in ICU status, with emphasis on telemetry and vital signs.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Start date is 10/26/2026 and the role is travel-based through MedPro’s roster.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from a state board.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses (PCU) provide close monitoring and frequent assessment for patients not requiring ICU care.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs and intervene when changes indicate potential emergencies.
