MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lorain, Ohio. Start date is 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks with a 12-hour night shift and 24 hours per week.

The candidate must hold an Active RN License, have a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent PCU/Step-down experience. This is a travel assignment through MedPro Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses (PCU) care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care.
• Monitor and assess patients who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care and use monitoring equipment to detect changes for timely intervention.
