Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Florence, Alabama. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights. As a travel RN, you will work in the PCU alongside a dedicated team in a hospital setting.

You’ll perform plan of care interventions, monitor and document patient conditions, communicate with the care team, coordinate transfers and educate patients and families, while upholding professional standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications and licensure as required for the specific position.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
