Job summary

Mobile Health Team Inc. is hiring a Travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Coos Bay, OR. This 8-week night assignment requires 12-hour shifts with float capability to MCU/PSU/APU as needed.

Must have 24+ months PCU/Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital, ACLS and BLS certifications, and be willing to obtain active licenses as required. Weekly pay is $1,750 with a non-taxed $994 stipend.

Qualifications

• Must have acute care hospital experience.
• Minimum 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience.
• Facility would consider PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience.
• ACLS (AHA) certification is needed but not required active at submission; must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Teach patients and significant others; document patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care.
• Continuously evaluate and monitor patients for signs of recovery or worsening.
• Change dressings, start IV lines and insert catheters.
• Prepare medical equipment and maintain supplies for immediate use.
• Administer medications as directed by physician or per schedule of drugs.
• Report patient progress accurately to care team and families.
• Assist doctors with monitoring and bedside procedures in PCU.
