Cross Country Nurses invites an RN to join a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Richmond, VA for a travel assignment. You will care for cardiac and step-down patients in a 20-bed unit, using advanced equipment and strict adherence to hospital policies.

The role begins on 10/19/2026 with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week, nights only. Shifts are 12 hours with a focus on patient monitoring, professional accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in step-down and cardiac drips (Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Nitro, etc.).
• BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow care experience.
• Ability to perform bedside cardioversion.
• Strong patient monitoring skills.
• Flexible to float to related units as needed.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a 20-bed PCU unit focusing on cardiac and step-down patients.
• Utilize advanced monitors and equipment while following hospital policies.
• Attend night shifts and ensure shift reports and handoffs are completed.
