Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an RN for a PCU/Med Surg Tele travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care environment. You will care for a diverse medical and surgical patient population across units.

The assignment features 36 guaranteed hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and required holiday coverage. Candidates should have Alabama or Compact-state RN licensure, ADN or higher, and BLS certification. Recent PCU/Telemetry experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact state
• ADN or higher
• AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS
• 2 years of RN experience preferred
• 18 months experience may be considered with at least 1 year of recent specialty
• Recent PCU, Step Down, IMC, Med Surg or Tele experience
• Comfortable floating to other units and hospitals
• Strong telemetry and acute-care skills
• Able to work every other weekend and holidays; Holiday RTO not permitted; max 7 days of RTO during 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Provide care for PCU/Med Surg/Telemetry patients
• Care for diverse medical and surgical cases
• Perform telemetry monitoring and acute-care tasks
• Float to other units and hospitals as required
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
