Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The role requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Engage in telemetry monitoring, administer cardiac-focused care, and support patient education in a progressive care setting.

Work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts at a facility in Hilo. Enjoy travel compensation benefits and a dedicated clinical team to support your assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred)
• NIHSS Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, vitals, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Assist with cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and hospital safety standards.
