Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the PCU in Hilo, Hawaii. This 13-week assignment involves 12-hour night shifts (18:45–07:15) with 36 hours per week in a 15-bed PCU including a 3-step down ICU and telemetry.

You will monitor patients, perform primary nursing duties, and utilize Meditech, Pyxis, and BIPAP equipment. Required: Hawaii license and recent acute care hospital experience; ACLS/PALS preferred and NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• Hawaii license required; ACLS/PALS preferred; NIHSS preferred.
• At least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care and patient monitoring in PCU with telemetry.
• Perform telemetry strip readings and fingerstick glucose testing.
• Manage patient care during 12-hour night shifts and coordinate with facility units.
• May float to other acute care units as needed.
